A warm welcome to Glencairn House
Glencairn House is a small family run B&B offering quality accommodation in tranquil surroundings. Each of our 3 rooms has tea and coffee making facilities, prices range from £25.00 to £30.00 per person per night. Breakfast is included in the price and can be selected from an extensive menu.
We intentionally do not have televisions in each room. We have found that guests enjoy exchanging experiences of this beautiful part of the highlands and may do so in the comfort of the lounge. Sky TV, DVDs and a wide ranging selection of reference books and novels are available for your use.
Mallaig, Morar and Arisaig have a number of restaurants catering to most tastes. For those who wish a casual night in, our patio and BBQ are available for your use.
Due to a number of restaurants closing out of season, early October to late March, we can offer a limited selection of light evening meals, if booked in advance (vegetarian option available).
CANINE GUESTS
We are “Open for Dogs.” This guest brought his own bed but we can provide dog-beds and crates if required. Treat pouches are in all rooms occupied by 4 legged guests.
For the more laid back canine guest the garden and surrounding land is available for walks. The more active may like to try out our small agility course, weather permitting.
CANINE RESIDENTS
We have resident Bernese Mountain Dogs at Glencairn House. We realise not all guests enjoy the company of large dogs and keep ours away from the house and garden when guests are here.
